Our daycare is a parent-initiated daycare. The children are coated for and supported in small groups, in a family-like atmosphere with a good staff-to-child ratio. The framework conditions allow for ndividualized, pedagogically profound, and holistic work for our team.
The commitment and dedication of the parents are essential for the continued existence of the daycare. Parents, together with the educators‘ team, are responsible for the organization and smooth operation of the daycare..
They take on various responsibilities such as parent roles, parent duties, board tasks, monthly cleaning services, and duties during the spring and fall cleaning. All parents are members of the sponsoring association „Schnick und Schnack e.V.“
Enrollment is completed upon signing the kindergarten contract and ends with the child’s school enrollment.
The parents' association is represented by a board consisting of at least three members. This board is elected from among the parents by all members during regular general meetings..
The responsibilities of the board members include personnel, administration, and finances. Additionally, they serve as points of contact for parents and educators, and they voluntarily handle all internal and external matters that ensure the smooth operation of the daycare.
